Recommendations for Digital Video Cameras $500 US or Less?

Question: Which is better - harddrive? mini DV? DVD-RW? What are some key features that I should shop for that are worth the money? Thanks for your help.
Answers: go to comsumerreports.org and pay for one month's subscription. you will get the absolute best advice that way. If you don't want to pay, do searches on various camcorder reviews and comparisons; hard drive, mini-dv, dvd-rw. My limited experience is that the dvds only write 30 minutes and the quality is not as good as mini-dv. Read the reviews on Circut City for the various camcorders you are interested in.
i thhink it would be a mini one so u can carry it arround better can be bought at best buy
Always go for waterproof digital video camera with high quality. Most digital video cam come with features that can allow you to use it for dual purpose. For example you can use them both video coverage and as a web camera
