How to convert vcr tapes to dvd?
Question: want to make a video and put it on a dvd
Answers: You might consider buying a stand alone DVD recorder. Plug in the VCR cords into DVD recorder,TV and record. This is the way I do it and to me the easiest. Computer programs that can make a movie take to long to edit etc..
Hope this helps, good luck!
there's a tool available for it called Go DVD in which you need to connect your VCR on one end and your DVD recorder on the other end and it will convert eitherways. it has S-Video as well as the conventional inputs..
other option is a a tool available at RadioShack which can connect to your PC on end and your VCR on the other end. You need to download a software available with it and you can record the movie on the harddrive and then burn a DVD.
Wal-greens has a service which you can drop off your old VCR tapes and they convert them to DVD. Except is kind of pricy. That's about the only way I know, don't know about doing it yourself.
Go to best buy or walmart and buy a dvd recorder it works just like a vcr.
All you need is to buy a tv-tunner. They are not expensive. It's a device to connect to ypur computer which has lines in and out. You have to connect your vcr to your computer trough it and then just grab the video from tapes. The tv-tunner is more useful than just a dvd-recorder, you can edit the videos on your pc, record tv programs with it.
