What software are you using to burn DVD's from your Mini DV camcorder?

Answers: I use several programs.

1. I use Pinnacle 9.0 or 'Ulead Video Capture' to transfer the movie from the camcorder to the PC.. If I don't plan on editing the the video, I save it as an MPEG-2 file

2. If I plan on editing, then I save the video as an AVI non-compressed. Then use Ulead MediaStudio to edit it and THEN make the MPEG-2 file.

3. I create the DVD files (VIDEO_TS contents) with DVD-Lab. This is where I insert the MPEG-2 file and create Chapters, DVD menus, subtitles, etc....

4. Now that the DVD files are completed, I use NERO to burn a DVD Movie .
Roxio easy creator 7 and up. Pinnacle 8 & up, Movies on CD & DVD 2004 and up, Sony Vega etc. etc. Along with a slew of freeware programs from Freeware.files.com. And then theres DVD Easy from Tsumai, which of course does it pretty easy.
The latest version of Pinnacle Studio is all you really need.
