Can a sony digital DSC-R1 camera be attached via firewire to a mini dv recording video deck ? as hi rez camera
Question: The dsc-R1 is digital still 10.3 megapixel, @ highest quality raw setting 3888x2592
Answers: used a double ended firewire 1394, and hooked other end to a jvc dv deck . it worked. also adapted to hdmi t.v. ....it was receiving above 1080p. sound sync was perfect. used external audio technica on sound
I haven't seen aything that says it has a firewire connection, so I'd think not. You can add still when you're editing though.
