My Sony Handycam DCR-SR40 won't upload properly?
Question: The camera is not detected when plugged in to my computer. I cannot retrieve video's through the handycam program. However, I can use a photoshop esque program to extract video, but it does not capture the sound. I attempt to upload information on to my P.C. by attaching the handycam into it's charging device, and attaching a USB cable to the charging device, which is in turn hooked up to the P.C. Does any one know if I am improperly attaching my camera to my computer, or if my computer just seems incompatable with my computer or what the problem is, and how I could fix it.
