Answers: That was very lucky - to find a camcorder
You do not need any installation disc for the camera - you just need the right software
Unfortunately many of the people above have not read your question properly.
If you have a DVD camcorder you should do it this way
Use a programme such as Corel VideoStudio - you take the mini-disc out of your camcorder and put it into the DVD tray of your PC making sure it sits centrally in the little depression made for it. You may have to 'finalise' the mini DVD your camera manual will tell you how to do that - you should note though that once you have finalised a disc you will not be able to use it again or add further videos to it.
Inside VideoStudio you select Insert DVD/DVD-VR and point the programme at the DVD and follow the prompts and the video is copied from the disc into the timeline of VideoStudio so that you can edit it - add lots of different videos together cut out bits you don't want - add titles/music/narration - If you wish you can then output a file to e-mail or upload to Youtube etc. - and finally burn to a full size DVD to play in a standard player.

go to best buy, or a similar store. if they cant help you then pawn it. or sell it to someone else
You shouldn't need a CD, the computer should install it. just plug it in and try loading a movie to the computer.
Use firewire cable to connect between camera and computer. Provided that your computer has a firewire port. You capture it using software, and export it to any media you want
