Answers: choice 1 is better because it has a bigger hard drive (more video stored) and because you can take pictures with it (albeit not very good ones....but still)
choice 2 is the better all rounder, if you already have a digital camera and your not going to be an extremly heavy user, get this
They are the same just 1 has a 60GB HDD and the other has a 30GB HDD. Depends on how much u need to store on the camcorder.
