I want to rip a wedding DVD that I was given, and then stream/post that ripped video on my website -- can I?

Question: Ideally, the website would have the video posted to it in a YouTube -like format, with the embedded playback capability. That's not necessary -- just a nice to have .
Answers: You need to get hold of a DVD Decrypter, something like Gordian Knot.
You can then 'rip' your DVD in a low-res format, avi or mpeg whatever you feel like. [a word of caution here - the 'rip' might take upto 3 hours, so don't panic if it takes really long before you get to see anything]
Once done, you can upload/stream it at your website [youtube would be an easier option]
Just make sure you do this for the wedding DVD and not other copyright materials like movies etc.
See you at YouTube! :)
Try TubeHunter which can rip DVD clips into other Video/Audio format.
