I want to buy a camcorder but I have certain requirements. Please help me.?
Question: 1. The camcorder needs to be on your local best buy stores.
2. I only can afford $300. I know I'm pretty cheap.
3. The camcorder must contain a memory card.
Please, your help is really needed.
Answers: You need better requirements.
What kind of camcorder?
Mini DVD?
Hard Drive?
DV Tape?
What Kind of Memory Card?
How many times optical zoom?
How many times digital zoom?
Firewire or USB?
Light? Low Lux? Night Vision?
Are you recording with the intention of editing?
Do you just want to archive your family moments?
What kind of format does the camera record in?
What kind of compression technology is used to encode your videos.
Will you have to encode them again in order to make a DVD?
$300 is not cheap. That's a good chunk of change to drop on a camera, But don't rely on Best Buy to review one for you.
They will sell you a $300 camera alright, but it might not be one suitable for your needs. I reviewed a lot of cameras before I bought mine. I used Circuit City as well as Best Buy for peoples opinions.
All in all, I got a wonderful camera for $199.
i am also trying to find a low price dv to make home videos ,im just a student, dont need to be too fancy in this stuff,i just buy one ,i buy the newer version [http://www.sourcingmap.com/tft-digital-v... which have 4!!! MEGAPIXEL!!!!from other dealewrs im MALAYSIA,just cost me RM 200 ...about 60 U$.....wow...4 mega pixel....rather than the one which is 3.1
megapixel....
....
ok the tricky part...the memory,it use sd [not micro sdwhich is much expensive,n this sd is easy to find n cheap[possibly to b cheaper ob ebay or other online store] too]and mmc memory, and from the 200$ above mention ..you can use it to buy memory card, but dont need much if u r making short film, about 1 g ot 512 mb will be enough,i use to save my memory by just downloading my short film eachtime to a rewritable cd by a notebook .so i save alot of cash, although its inconvinient some times ...this product also have built in memory 32 mb[unlike camera and other expensive dv,this one dont have flash],i dont really mind, since i got a digital camera for flash n taking picture.
good enough or not...well :3.1 mega pixel is good enough to make a good video at that price alright...normally,2.8 megapixel makes good enough video on youtube, unlike some ,which use webcam[which is lower! price and LOWER MEGAPIXEL ] are able to make good videos on youtube and ect.,i think it sometimes do depends on the users techniques as well ^.^.
hope the link below i give helps!!!
