What's a good software package/utility for removing hiss from a home video?

Question: I have several home videos where the sound has alot of hiss from the microphone. What's the best utility or method to remove the hiss...and if possible, make the sound louder.
Answers: Assuming it's a constant noise and not something like wind noise, try Audacity. You can sample the hiss and then remove it from the audio. You can also increase the volume.

Audacity's free, but, from memory, it can't save the sampled noise - you need to resample each time you want to do the noise reduction. Acoustica's worth having a look at - it's not free, but at $40 it's a lot cheaper than some of the other stuff on the market.
Try T-racks 24. It is a stand alone plug in.
