For camras is it better to hav more megapixels, and can anyone tell me a good camrea for under $150 (digital)?
Answers: Unless you plan to make extremely large photos (like 36 posters) you won't need more than 4 megapix. And at 4, that's a good sized print...
For 4 x6' prints, a 3 megapixel camera would be fine. The Kodak 340 is a great camera for right at 150.00, check WalMart. The 340 is a 5 megapix camera. So you'll get a great image for the money. I have one and I use it a great deal. You can also make movies with it. You can make short movie clips with sound, and then splice them together in your computer to make longer movies. I hope this helps... Have a great weekend and good luck!
I forgot to mention... you can go into the menu on the camera to drop the pixel count down to a smaller image (like drop from 5.6 down to 2 or 3. whatever.
Yes. Sony.
after about 5 megapixels they all look the same. I have had really good luck with Fuji camera's and the quality is really good. Look on bestbuy.com and you can compare different ones. Goodluck!
More Mega pixels means higher content, and it also means bigger pictures, if you're planning on having your pictures enlarged and/or framed, MP are important, if you're planning on just having trip memories or e-mailing them, then you should get a smaller MP camera, you'll get smaller pictures that you can easily send thru e-mail and store a bunch of them w/o using up to much memory space; Kodak, Canon make some nice cheap cameras, Sony's are great but more expensive...
