I'm addicted to checking out digital cameras on ebay every day. Is there anyone else who has the same problem?

Question: I'm a filmmaker, and I have enough equipment already, but I can't help but want to check out what else is available on ebay, every day! I'm waisting too much time. Any suggestions of how I can get on with my life, and stop waisting valuable time?
Answers: I had a problem like yours...but now I just waste my time here (lol)
I was looking for a Ford Expedition for about 6mo on e-bay after I purchased one I did not know what to do I had nothing to look for?

SO, buy one! Then you won't have a reason to look!
i have a similar addiction only i like to look at laptop
computers on eBay
That is a simple obsession that your mind is stuck on.
Understanding that it will pass or be replaced with a new obsession may help.

At least you don't feel compelled to buy each one you look at, then you would be wasting your time and money.
If I was you, I would spend my time *most of it* using the equipment that I have to earn and get what I want. Being on ebay is when you are really not willing to buy is not a very smart idea. Spend time on your equipment, learn new things/techniqes..

cheers
i usually did the same until i found my perfect camera match
For me the cure is simple - once I get an urge to get something, I put in a great deal of effort into research, get the thing that looks to be perfect, and then start using it. Very quickly I find that the urge to read/look at something else just passed ;) . So go get the best camera you can afford, and GO OUT AND TAKE OODLES OF PICTURES. Post-processing them will require so much time and effort that you'll forget all about e-bay ;) .

Cheers,
Stas.
