How can I tell if my cell phone is disconnected?
Question: i lost my phone and i refuse to` pay the bill until i find it. so if they decide to disconnect my phone, how will I know?
Answers: you could call the cell phone company and find out...
call you cell and see what happens
♥ ♥ call it and see what happens ♥ ♥
Have you tried calling it? If you get the message that it is no longer in service you will know.
have someone call your phone to see if it is working. If it is not then u know its off. depending on the service you have but i would call to get a replacement phone if u have insurance.
Ask the telephone company that you subscribe. They know about that.
First of all you should have reported it to your carrier as soon as you lost it so they can disconnect your service to that particular phone. Best thing to do is call them ASAP abd tell them what happened so you do not get more charges. Have them review your activity to see if anyone is using it. If you have insurance on it you may be eligible for a phone to replace your lost one. However your negotiations with your carrier goes, you still have money to pay for what you used. I suggest you don't ruin your credit by not paying your bill.
Regardless of whether they disconnect the phone, you will have to pay the bill. It's not their fault you lost your phone.
You wont be able to make or receive calls.
