1.If the phone has been powered on after exposure to water - there is a 40% chance it will work agian.
2.If the phone has not been powered on after exposure to water - there is a 80% chance it will work agian.
Very Simple, you can buy the following:
Torx Screwdriver (T8-T15)
Circuit Board Cleaner
Compressed Air Can
Non-Static Wipes
Use the torx screwdriver to open the phone. Unhook any connections on the main board. Lay the main board away from the rest of the phone. Inspect it for damage(Rust/Corrosion). Use the anti-static wipes and clean the circuit board. Now spray the Circuit board cleaner onto the circuit board. Let dry for 48 Hours. Re-assemble to phone. Power on - Voila. Good luck.
do NOT turn it on after it's been in the water. Let it dry on a paper towel for 48-72 hours in the house. That might do it.
if it was powered off you can let it dry for a week to make sure the water dries and then see if it still works. if it was on when you dropped it it may be time to get a new one.
take it apart and use a blow dryer and don't put it together for about an hour. It may not be good as new but it'll work some. I did it lol....
Take the battery out and if you know how take the case off the phone use hair dryer and blow dry. When mine fell into the lake I did this but I had to buy a new battery, the phone worked just fine.
Sometimes you can take it apart (if you know how, my husband had to do it for me), and let it air out for a day or two. The 2nd time I washed it in my jeans, and it couldn't be fixed by my husband, so I had to send it in for repair-they couldn't fix it either, so they sent me a refurbished one.
put your cell phone on the radiator till its dried then it will probably work as before , but some problems may remain after heating !!!
Well,if it was on then you're **** out of luck, but if it was off then just let it thoroughly dry out and give it a try.Otherwise you'll need to either get it repaired or get a new phone.=(
yes there are several ways to get it to work not all of them successfully, however, I would never trust it again, the water greatly reduces its lifespan. best case senario recover the memory stick have the cellular tech at your service remove the data and put it in the new phone.
well mine got washed in the washer and we let it set out for and half and hour then took it a part and let it sit there for a day on a paper towel and it works fine now
My husband dropped his in the toilet and they wouldn[t touch it with a ten foot pole. He got a new one. I had to brign the old one home and get rid of it myself.
