How do i unlock my T-Mobile cellphone which is Samsung T629?
Question: my cellphone is a T-moblie lock. Its a Samsung T629 quadband
Answers: There are shops you can take it to,to get it unlocked, not sure if you're supposed to but you can. I know a place in my town centre called Phone Doctor who does that sort of thing for £10. Any phone shop that isn't a big brand will probably be able to offer the same service.
u hold talk and press 987 but if i doesnt work call the tmobikle service thats what i did
To have your T-Mobile Samsung T629 unlocked you will need to call customer service and they will submit a request on your behalf with the manufacturer.
Before you call them, you need to get the following information ready and make sure you write it down. You will need to get the IMEI number of your phone. To obtain the IMEI number you need to enter the following code in your phone *#06# and press the green button on your phone or the button to make a phone call. You will see a long 15 digit number -- note this number down.
Call T-Mobile and ask them to file a subsidy unlock request for you they will require the IMEI give it to them and they will submit it for you. Also make sure you give them a working email address as the manufacturer will email you the instructions on how to unlock your phone. The usual time line for this request is 72 hours, and you will receive it via email.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Good luck!
