I have a Nextel i710...Can I upgrade to a Blackberry and keep the same plan?

If you want to upgrade thru Sprint Yes you will, and they are also going to want you to purchase their Data plan along with your monthly service... however if you can get your hands on a new/ used BB you'll be able to just swap the Sim into the blackberry... Of course all your messaging apps will not work.. I used the BB 7100i just to set recurring appointments and use if for my address book... Remember the Blackberry is mainly for e-mail functions / appointments and then the phone comes second.. I was a little frustrated at first because I just wanted to make a few simple calls... the black berry is a very complex device.. oh yeah they also call it the Crackberry because it get very addicting once you get the swing of it..
