Where can i get a free ringtone software?
Answers: download Opera Mini and visit any site that has MP3 samples of songs most phones by default will download the MP3 because Opera Mini defaults to downloading it because it has no MP3 playing capabilities. Yay free tone!
You used to be able to do what was known as the Wal-Mart trick at walmart.com's music section. They got smart and switched to a format most phones can't read like Amazon did a few years ago. Here's how it worked and it will work on any site that sells music and has MP3 samples as long as your phone has a feature that will let you follow links in a text. You WILL NEED an unlimited data plan and some kind of text messaging plan.
the WALMART trick
step ONE-go to website and find the link to the sample
step TWO- right click and select save shortcut
step THREE- using outlook paste the link in the body of the e-mail erase all signatures and leave the subject blank
step FOUR- send it to your phone's e-mail address
step FIVE - when text appears on phone have the phone go to the link most phones list this as goto or select link
step SIX - giggle like a drunken schoolgirl at the free tone you're getting will take awhile to load
step SEVEN - enjoy the ringtone YAY!
These are typically 30 seconds long and take around 1000KB so your phone may not hold a lot (ringtones are generally saved to the phone's hard drive even on a phone with an MCC card).
Most manufactuerererers have software you can use with MP3 editing software to make your own tones for about 10$ sometimes free and shareware sites offer similar tools but beware of anything free.
really you can get it anywhere but you have to do this at your own risk of viruses and spam and identity theft but i would recamend xingtone maker(this will allow you to use songs that are downloaded to your computer and formate it into a ringtone)
