How do I get ringtone MP3s from my computer onto my cell phone?
Question: I found some ringtones online, but not from the Cingular website. How do I upload them onto my phone?
Answers: There are 2 ways to get ringtones on your phone. They are:
1. Use the Shopping button and purchase the ring tones from Cingular. The advantage is it's relatively easy to do. But it's expensive. They charge $2.49 a song (I believe) *and* you have to pay for the data transfer at $.01/1k, which adds up to another $2.00 approximately (200k * $.01/k). So a single song can cost nearly $5 with transfer fees and tax.
2. Go to ebay. Search for: RAZR data cable (Or whatever your cell phone is). You can usually buy the software you need and a data cable for $15-25 shipped to you. Then you can get ring tones for free and upload them onto your phone for free. The software has a good graphical interface and is easy to use.
Plus, you can then download pictures from your RAZR (or whatever brand cell phone) to your computer (it costs $.30-$.50 per picture to email them to yourself).
I purchased a few data cables online for myself, family, and a few friends. It makes changing ring tones easy, fun, and *cheap*.
Email me with any questions. Good luck!

Transfer them through bluetooth. You would have to enable bluetooth on your computer through the bluetooth software CD or you will have to attach a USB cable betwwen the CPU and the cell phone.Make sure the ringtones are in a format that are recognized by your cellphone.
You can download a software or buy it and you can make your own ringtones...
All you need is...
1.the ringtone(http://thesmartfonerevolution.cjb.net/)
2.the PC Suite supported by your phone(download frm the same)
OR A BLUETOOTH USB DONGLE AND ITS SOFTWARE CALLED BLUESOIL
