Wii help! I socketed on wrong voltage! 110v into 220v?
Question: What do you think is broken.. the main unit or just the adaptor bar.. :(
Answers: The adaptor. Get your adaptor to any local ELECTRICAL repair centre and they can re-wind it to suite 220 Volts. Or else get a 120 to 220 convertor adaptor
You can destroy you wii doing that. If it didn't blow out it might still work. If there is not option switch that will allow going between 110 to 220 you will probably need a transformer to play it. Read the manual before just using 110/220 adapter, because if it is a 110 only device that may also blow it out. My brother did that do my sister's PS1 by using the adapter instead of a transformer.
