You don't need to get an SD card to save your games, but you're better off getting one because the Wii's internal save is very small.

The Wii has a built in memory card so you don't need to buy one. Besides the console, sensor bar, the cables, and power adapter, the wii comes only one remote and nunchuk. When I got mine, it came with the wii sports. The wii sports has baseball, bowling, boxing, golf, and tennis. If you want another remote and nnchuk, you have to buy it. :)
