Wii or PS3...?? (see details)?
Question: okay, so my bro is giving me 2 options to choose :
1. he's going to buy me a Wii TOMORROW
2. he's going to buy me a ps3 in JUNE for my bday
i'm really confused. i really wanna try Wii, but the games i like are gonna be releasing sequels in ps3.
which one should i choose?

Answers: Depends what you are after. The Wii is a fun console to play with your friends, whereas the PS3 is a serious console to play more by yourself. If you like the sound of the Wii, and like the games lineup, go for the Wii- its out, selling well and has a good game lineup (as far as im concerned anyway!) The PS3 isnt selling too well, and has some good games coming up- but the catch is they are not out yet, only promises. Also, the PS3 is meant to be a media centre for all your entertainment needs. The last time sony tried that was with the PSP, and we all know what happened to that... Also, with the Wii, you get full backwards compatibility with the gamecube as standard, with the PS3 to PS2 this is not so.
However, its the games that make a console, so look at all the games you like on each console and base it on that would be my advice.

pick the wii, u wont have to wait, and now ppl are starting to get games that are actually good for the wii:
Rayman Raving Rabbids
MOH: heroes 2
Supermario Galaxy
Super Paper Mario
Metroid 3
EA series (fifa, madden etc, the NBA version SUCKED THOUGH)
Resident Evil etc.
Howeve rits almost worth gettin the PS3 because it will have cod4!
if u get a wii, get cod4 for ur PC!!!!
I'd say the wii, it has Zelda and Mario Galaxy also wiifit and Brawl will be out early next year, there are only two PS3 exclusives that interest me and they are MGS 4 and FF13 other than that it looks a bit starves of decent games.
PS3 all the way!!! I own a wii and after about six months got so bored because the games suck. I went out and bought a ps3 and i love it!!!
Tell you brother to buy Wii at Bestbuy with the 2 year replacement plan for $40. You or him can then return Wii after year or two. If you want to play wii game. Just rent it from blockbuster for $8 for 5 day and return within 30 day. Blockbuster only charge you $1....for restocking fee. You might have to buy a wii remote for both of you.
