Have you got a Wii and what age are they aimed at?

Question: Someone said the younger kids.
Is that right?
Answers: all ages.
The different games are aimed at different age groups, but that is the same for any console.
I own one and my whole family love it (from 12 years old to 75)
3 to 103 any age really
I have a Wii, and I think they are aimed at all ages.
Everyone, they are fantastic.

Im 36
i bought one last week, i would say that they are aimed at all ages depends on what game you are playing (just like most computers). they are good if you have people coming round for a drink and stuff, one boy i know lost 1 stone already from playing one
Wii's are aimed at people of all ages, but you tend to find that they interest younger kids more than adults.
Although, my dads 54 and he can't get enough of my nintendo wii...
so any age really.
I don't think games like manhunt 2, resident evil and mortal kombat would be considered kids games, theres games to satisfy all ages.
All ages. That's why they are selling so many.
The larger your tv the better.
the wii is really for all ages it for easy to conroll so any age can play it and it gets the kids up and active and it gives the older people exercise as well its great for the whole family
I think that anyone can have fun on a wii (well maybe not a baby) my grandma loves to play mines
I am 27 and my husband is 31.
We have a Wii and we love it.
Wiis are aimed at everyone that can wield a Wii remote and that have basic language skills generally, but third-party (games not made by Nintendo) are MOSTLY intended for children. A few aren't, but a lot are
Look at the games. If it has 'E' on it, it's for everyone. Here is the lowdown for the ratings for each game and age:

Yup, i sure have 1. And they are geared for all ages - the controllers are not covered in buttons like the other consoles of today, and even someone who has never played video games will be able to pick up the controller and start playing almost immediatly.

The controller is primarily motion sensitive, and only has about 4 buttons on it. Simple, yet effective.

Hope that helps
The console is more kid friendly than the other consoles out there but it's not only for kids. There are games that are geared towards adults as well, such as Resident Evil 4, Mortal Combat, The Godfather, and Scarface.
They are for all ages that is why there has ben such a huge demand for them!

I got mines on Friday and I love it and I am 33!

They are a great way to keep fit!
I'm 18 and my boyfriend is 22 we have a wii, it's so cool and for everyone
Some games are aimed at kids, some are aimed at teens, and some are aimed at adults. Some games are for everyone. Wii just gets the kiddy label because it has the most kid-friendly games (which are still good games, by the way).

The Wii encompasses a lot of genres. Platformer, first person shooter, action/adventure, racing, puzzle, minigames (I can't believe that's turning into a genre).....and there are many more to come.
All ages, as with most consoles, theres a variety of games to suit different ages. June 30th is the release date for the Wii version of Resident Evil 4 here in the UK. that's certainly not for kids.
