RCA (audio/video) wires to IEEE 1394?
Question: Can I connect a RCA wire to an IEEE 1394. I want to capture some video.
Answers: yes, but you have to get the adapter and the connectors. compusa or online sells them.
You need to an analog to Firewire DV converter like the ones made by Canopus, DataVideo, Pinnacle, etc. to so this.
Or, some DV camcorders will serve this function if they have analog input (A/V) jacks *AND* A/V passthrough capability. Consult your camcorder owners manual to find out.
