So dish signal help me please?

Question: I NEED HELP FINID SINGAL ON DISH FOR DIRECT TV CAN SOME HELP PLEASE CAUSE THERE NOT COMING TIL SUNDAY
Answers: okay it's been awhile since i set my dish but there is a signal reader on the remote in the guides somewhere we had to use. You go to that thing that shows how much of reception you're getting. You need two people, one at the dish and one at the TV so you can communicate. The person at the dish will keep making slight alterations and the person at the TV will report if it's better or worse. I have the manual at home I am sure. If this helps, great, if not, you can email me and when i get home i'll look for the book and see if i can get you some more information.

oh yeah - and of course you have to have a clear view of the Southern sky
just move it around untill u get a picture that u like and see if u can get some thing for free because u had to wait so long i try and it work
Make sure the dish is pointing due south. Now keeping the dish south, start changing the dishes up and down angle. Start by pointing at the horizon, and then tilt it up one or two degrees. It helps to have someone on the inside clicking on the signal strength button each time you move it. Keep tilting the dish up by a couple degrees and checking for signal strength until you have maximum strength. Then screw everything tight, check it one more time, and you are set.

To find due south, get a compass, go outside, hold it flat in your hand, and let the needle settle down. the red end of the needle points north, so south is at the other end. Move your body so that your eye is on the side of the compass with the red end, and the south end is pointing away from you. Now, using the compass as a gun sight, look for some land mark, far away, it is pointing to. that landmark is the thing to point the dish at.
