Is it possible to buy another warranty for a product whose warrranty has expired?

Answers: Kimberbee has an interesting angle on this, but once the warranty has expired, it is normally impossible to get another one, people assume you've been rough on the gear and busted it.

So if the warranty hasn't expired, call the manufacturer. If it recently expired and you bought it on a credit card, call the credit card service desk and see if they also warranty it.
call (or email, contact them somehow) the actual company before the warranty expires (just to be safe) and tell them you would like to renew your warranty. most places will allow this so you should have no problem.
call sears, they will sell you a 3 year service plan on it for a reasonable price
