Too much surround sound?
Question: When digital 5.1 came out I was thrilled and it sounded great. Now I hear of 7.1, an addition of side speakers. I think now come on!!! You can only pack so much spatial sound into one listening area. Does the 7.1 really offer an improved listening experience over the 5.1?
Answers: well i have worked at bestbuy for some time and i have gotton this question from shoppers alot... i started out with a 5.1 system in the living room, i jus upgrade to a flat panal LCD so i thought why not jus get the 7.1 to tag along for the ride....let me tell you this, im never going back to ole 5.1, you hear sounds like your in the movie i love it, it really brings the action to life, so id say its totally worth it
