We are setting up Digital FreeView in a FlatShare (6 Rooms). What equipment do we need? How many aerials?
Answers: You need one aerial, six freeview boxes and to ensure good reception one aerial booster (with 6 outlets) attached to your main aerial wire - otherwise you will lose quality after attaching more than two aerial wires to your aerial.
you only need one ariel but if you want to watch seperate channels at the same time you will need 6 freeview boxes.
6 x stb + either 1 Aeriel split into the six rooms or 6 X indoor digital aeriels
Further to the previous answers, all of which are correct, the bad news is that each room will also need a seperate TV licence if rent is paid on a room per room basis.
