For those who know about electronics?
Question: What is the best way to connect my cable box, surround sound, DVD/VCR, Play station 2.
In which order should these be connected so that surround sound works for all?
Answers: As long as you are connecting to an A/V reciever with enough proper inputs, it won't matter in which order you connect them.
1, then 2, then 3 and then finally 4.

You need a surround sound receiver that has video switching. All of your components plug into it then plug it into you TV.
