Can anyone tell me a good brand/model of DVD AND VCR recorder with HDD?
Question: It needs to be all in the same unit.
Answers: I don't think you will find a unit that is a DVD recorder/VCR and has an HDD all in one.
However, LiteOn makes a good DVDr/Recorder with a HDD. They are usually priceds low and have great quality. See link below.

personally I believe that they are all of equal quality, nothing is made to last these days, as we live in a disposable society, however I have never had one of these devices break down so far, I myself generally purchase the cheapest one, which is attractive.
