Question: I have the Harmony 880 universal remote and I would like to be able to use it with my Sharper Image SI-868 fan. I have been using this remote for awhile and know most of the details of its setup and functions but am unable to make this work.

Answers: If the Sharper Image fan uses IR or RF, then it should be able.

If you fan is IR you will be able to use it (if the remote is RF you will NOT be able to). An IR remote control uses light whereas an RF remote uses radio signals. That harmony is a learning remote control, so you can teach it new codes from other remote controls. Look into your manual on details on how to do it.
