Whats the secret to picture in a picture with a sattelite dish reciever?

Answers: You have to get two recievers or Dish Network offers a dual tuner reciever that you can use with the PIP.
The least expensive option is to use a dual tuner DVR satellite receiver that has this option.
The coolest device I have used is made by RGB Spectrum. The product is called the 4view. It allows 4 separate inputs, scales them and displays them on one screen. So what would be required is 4 satellite receivers (or any combo of 4 video sources) and the 4 view.

This is a commercial product mainly developed for conference rooms, which means that it isn't cheap.

Of course the basic setup is to use 2 satellite receivers connected directly to a PIP TV and use the TVs output to your surround sound processor, the only problem is that the TV most likely wont have digital audio inputs/outputs.
Hope this helps.
