Can i utilize the the amp from a late 80s techniques receiver and patch it to my kenwood pro logoic receiver?

Question: all the audio jacks are open onthe back of the tech. there r lh & rh audio jacks labeled pre out and main in they are red and white kenwood has audio jacks like video lh & rh v ideo play in then there is video pay in and out and rec. out and moniter out (these are yellow ) then there is a pre out sec for lh and rh (2 of each l & r) and a sub out and center outthese are all black thank you to anyone
Answers: Yes, but only for two of the channels. Pro Logic receivers generally have five channels of amplification. You're basically going to hook the pre out on the kenwood to one of the inputs on the technics.
Yup. Nick is right. It's not gonna work for more than two channels. Check out eBay for some good, used A/V receivers. You should be able to find a decent used Kenwood, Onkyo, or Pioneer for not too much money, and it will be less hassle.
I'd vote for the Onkyo. They are amazing ( and I own two Kenwood receiver.).
