How do i add a second subwoofer to my A/V receiver?
Answers: Simply use a Y-Connector to split the signal to two subs. This is very commonly done. One thing you will want to do is play around with positioning of the subs. Two subs will give you 3db more output and will change the way the room is loaded. On the one hand, you may be able to distribute the room nodes better with twin subs. On the other hand, you may create more cancellations. Adjustment and positioning is easier with one so if you have taken the time to calculate the best position for your single sub, best to stack the second on top. If you have severe nodal issues, then best to place them apart.
