What is your opinion of the Sony's DAV-X1 home theater system?
Question: We are considering upgrading our home sound system. This is one system we are looking at. Our other option is sticking with our current receiver and CD player and buying new upright speakers alone. Just wondering what other people's experiences are...
Answers: I really like the DAV-X1. We upgraded from an older Pioneer system and with the integrated input and outputs found that is much easier to adjust to our liking. It sounds great with little adjusting, whereas we had to do a lot more with the old system to make it sound okay. Of course, the old system wasn't bad, but since we were able to afford it, felt that the upgrade was worth it. It's especially great on the newer surround sound movies.
I think it's the greatest speaker system ever!!! To be honest, I don't own one but I've recently seen and used one at a friend's house. It's great! You should definitely buy it. However, I don't know what system you currently have so can't really help you decide...
