How can i use 16 gauge speaker wire to connect to rca connection on the subwoofer?

Answers: Buy a 10$ soldering iron, $2.99 rca connectors at radio shack and put it together yourself. really easy to do. If you hear a reduction in bass when you plug it in, it means the wires need to be swapped. Bam, you're done!
Whoa! You are treading on dangerous ground there friend. It is not a good idea to use non-compliant cabling for your system. Just go to Radio Shack and get an RCA cable.
Just make VERY sure you are comfortable soldering. The solder joint must be clean, good connection, no fray wires cross touching, etc. If in doubt, go buy one pre-made, there's plenty to choose from.
I wouldn't advise using speaker wire for an RCA device. RCA cables are cheap. Just got to Radio Shack or Fry's Electronics and buy some RCA cables!
