Using a 1394 connector on an HDTV, does it carry the audio?
Answers: yes it has the band width to carry up to four differnt hd channels if needed 1394 connector is used on digtal camcorders to send video and sound to computers some older model hd tvs have 1394 connectors on them because at the time they didnt know what the popular connectors would be but hdmi is winning the war
