Why do some DVDs not play in my player? It is a Daewoo, the DVDs are from Blockbuster and Netflix.?

Answers: 1)Make sure that your DVD player can replay both DVD-R and DVD+R . the most common is the DVD-R players.
2)It might be related to the different systems of NTSC American system & PAL Europian system
3)You may need to clean your DVD player's lens.
4) some scratched DVDs do not play well with some old used DVD players but plays well with DVD rom .
Clean the player.
Read the manual for your Daewoo player, if its of different region ,PAL or NTSC,etc.
