Connecting TV To Computer?
Question: How do I connect my digital TV box to my computer. I understand that I can use the 'media center' on my PC to act like a Tivo. How do I make this work?
Answers: You need a special card(see below). If you want to be able to see what you have recorded see the second link.
You can actually plug the coaxial cable from the cable company straight in to the back of the pc. If you look on the back of the pc and there is no cable screw type plugin then you need a tv tuner card. Sony Vaio's have the gigapocket that can act as a Tivo . For that you'll simple plug the cable straight in to the back of the pc. You don't involve the TV box.
