What type surge protector should I plug my subwoofer into to keep it from going THUD when I turn a light off?

Question: Whenever I turn a light switch off in my house, my subwoofer makes a loud house rattling THUD .......please help
Answers: If putting your sub and or HT on a seperate circuit is not an option use a battery backup with AVR (automatic voltage regulation) that way your equipment will never know when there was a draw on the power line.
I have this one. Works GREAT.

That's not a surge issue. Plug the sub into a dedicated circuit.
if turning a light off makes it thud is not a normal thing and a surge protector won't stop it.

if it does it anywhere in your house...then a dedicated outlet isn't your issue...and it ALMOST sounds like a power spike from turning the light off..which would mean you'd have to be drawing some SERIOUS power elsewhere in your house...or you have a line voltage problem...you may have a larger problem.
