Will the dvd+r disc play in my dvd player???
Question: Hello I have a Magnavox dvd player which is sold at walmart for like 29.99 i think. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d... ...copy that link if u want to see it. i was wanting to know if dvd+r disc will play in it??? thanks!!!
Answers: Ok, I just viewed the DVD player that you are talking about. The DVD player is meant to play DVD-R/-RW., it does not say anything about DVD+R/+RW. From my experience you should be able to play most DVD+R/W on your DVD player. Their are some DVD's that skip, but its very seldom. If you want the best results should buy a DVD player that plays both format. If you have a DVD burner that can burn DVD-R, then you can do this also. If you want you can return it in 15-30 days. I would call them and ask them what their refund policy is.
I took a look at your link. Unfortunately, like a lot of DVD players, it seems that this model will only play DVD-R and -RWs. That seems to be the standard. Whenever you buy blanks for burning, etc, make sure that they specify -R or -RW.
