Why don't burned CD's work in my home stereo system?
Question: It is a 5 disc changer, radio, the standard CD home thing.
Answers: Are you finalizing the disc when you burn it? Most standalone players won't play a disc that's not finalized.
As strange as it may sound, some players don't have the code written into the firmware to play anything but a commercial, store bought cd.
it cud be the type of disc ur using
Either you burned the CD's as a data disc, You burned to a CD-RW or your CD player doesn't read CD-R's
Are they mp3s? Cd- + don't work in some older players. Technology has evolved.
Because some Players find it as as being an Unreadable disc it is probably the format.
Depends on the format of your blank Cd's.
You have to use the type that will work in your player. There are basically four different types of blank Cd's. Cd+r, CD+rw, CD-r,CD-rw. Check your players owner manual to see which one if any it plays.
not all cd players can read burned cds specially the old ones. if you notice they now put a text on cd players like MP3,CD-R OR RW-playback to let you know that it has those features
If you have checked all compatibilty issues and are using the right type of disc (DVD-R or DVD+R) and they still do not work, try other brands of media, and be sure to use a low writing speed. Some older DVD players have a hard time reading recordable DVDs. Players are so cheap now, you might consider getting one just to play recordables (check to see if it works first).
cuz ur a retard and dont critisize other peoples questions it was a serious question *** whole
