I am looking for outdoor storage for a amplifier/receiver. Needs to be waterproof and locks.?
Answers: I'd be careful if I were you. Most modern receivers are very sensitive to even slight changes in temp/humidity. They are really more computer than tradional audio equipment. Thus, even if you get a lockable cabinet, it will not keep out the atmospheric changes, and you may find your equipment will not work after a few months. It is a better alternative to locate your electronic equip inside the house somewhere, and set up a second zone for speakers outside. This is what I do, and it works great. You really need ot keep your electronics in a temp/humidity controlled space year-round. Good Luck.
