Question: The part # for the remote is 272041. I have tried RCA, since this product is now discontinued, they are no help. I am almost desperate for this remote or a remote that someone knows for a fact will work with my home theater system.

Answers: If you can't find a universal remote that works for your system, I suggest looking online to buy a replacement in the resale areas.

My favorite resale place is my local craigslist.org site. I have posted in the wanted section and got good results. Also you find the neatest things in their electronics stuff.

Failing craigslist, try the freecycle group for your area or eBay.
