I have a sony 600 watt surround sound amp and have a question about a constant noise coming from the?
Question: rear speakers when I'm watching a movie, I've got very good cables, speaker wires, surge protector, and everything is ran correctly and away from power sources and high magnetic sources also, any sugestions with my problem. The noise sounds like humming, or hissing.
Answers: Two ideas:
1. There may be a crack or break in your speaker wire, resulting in some cross current and causing the noise.
2. If this is one of those budget home-theater in a box systems, say under $500, then the reason is a cheap amplifier. Sorry, dude.
