High definition into a low definition TV?

Question: I have a HD satelite receiver that outputs high definition through hdmi which is fine for my ceiling projector but it doesn't alow for regular hookups to my tv. I have both units in the same room and the tv is used the most. Is there a converter that will take a digital hdmi 780 or dvi-d input and put out composite, or s video for a 480 i tv
Answers: You should be able to select the output on your satellite for 480i/720i or 1080i. If you can select 480i for when you want to watch on your TV, this should work.
Either go to a RadioShack store or go to RadioShack.com and you should be able to get your questions answered.
You can buy a DVI Video converter from Apple for $19.00
What Jim posted is absolutely correct.

Also, if your HD receiver has composite out, (Red, White, and Yellow), you could get an RF modulator and run it into your TV through Coax. Although Jim's solution would be a lot simpler.
