DVD changer Zenith DVC2550 locked up, can anyone help?
Question: Watching a movie and it stops as if it had been paused. Remote not responsive so I try buttons on the face. No response. I unplug it, wait about 30 seconds plug it back in and it will not open or respond at all. The front is completely illuminated with every possible display lit, looks like jibberish. I need to atleast get my DVDs out. Help!
Answers: Unplug it for at least 5-30 minutes. 30 secs is not long enough to reset it. If that doesn't work, a good smack against the wall might.
you can open it to get your dvd's out. other than that, id say just let it go. i'd also like to urge you to never buy a zenith product again, unless you get one awesome deal.
