VONAGE customers I have a question about the service....?
Question: Just signed up with vonage and even though I don't live in kentucky right now (I'm about 800 miles away)...I signed up for a kentucky number anyway because Im from kentucky and it would be more convenient for my family to call me if i have a kentucky area code. Has anyone ever done this before? Are there any possible complications from doing this?
Answers: its called virtual phone number! I have them with my VoIP, I have that for my friends and family, it has a different ring so I no which state is calling, have also a song for my family...mine its a X-mas song ( 'cuz every one nos I like Xmas) I love a that new stuff...I have 3 different area codes...
No there isn't but anyone who calling you from your area who don't have a US calling plan will be charge a long distance. There are other one like sunrocket.com that give you 2 virtual numbers which you can use for local and another long distance and they both ring on the same line all for 24.99.
