How can you????
Question: This may be a dumb question but.... If someone calls your house with a private number, is there any way to get the physical number? Like *69 will dial it back but won't give it to you...Is there any other way?
Answers: No.
Your best bet would be to reject anonymous calls. This is free from your phone company. This way, the person HAS to show their number when they call you.
Sorry, if your caller ID doesn't display a number you can't get it.
im sorry to say that there isnt
There is some way that you can make it so your phone won't accept someone calling in unless their number can be dispayed or *69'd.
It's something like what the *67 does but all that does is make it so the number that you are calling can't tell what number you are callin from.
Call your local phone co. and ask them for a list of all the codes that are available free to you.
Yes, You have to call the operator and then you have a sequence of numbers to input and then it will trace the number. Ask the operator for assistance..
Short answer, NO. You can't get it, but it can be gotten.
Most larger phone companies have a custom calling feature called 'Call Trace'. After someone calls you, you pick up your phone & input some digits, like *57. That traces the number that called you, but here's the rub!: It will only report that number to the security department of your phone company, not to you.
So, it's a great feature for someone having problems with harassing phone calls, but the phone company will NEVER reveal that number to you.
