In Itunes I changed the Itunes music folder location. Now when Itunes is started no info is there.?
Question: I bought an external hard drive (Western Digital 80 GB) and want to change the location of the My Music folder which contains the itunes music folder. I followed the directions in the itunes exactly. When I start Itunes all of my info comes up fine, UNTIL I delete the folder off of the C: drive. Keep in mind it is now on I: drive (ext. drive) and Itunes has been changed to look on that drive and in that folder. Once it is deleted from C: drive no itunes info comes up at all when it is opened. I need more space on my C: drive so I really need it to go to the external drive . Please any advice!
Answers: Make sure the external hard drive is plugged in and windows recognizes it. Make sure the itunes folder is there. Then go to itunes options or somtin, and look for changing the folder location. Also, on the left side, where it shows ur music folder. Try right clicking or something and seeing if u can change that location.
