How do i get stuff from my series 1 DirecTV TiVo onto my laptop computer?
Question: I have an old series 1 TiVo unit that has 2 DirecTV tuners in it and i want to get programs onto my laptop computer so i can burn the programs onto a DVD. I already have video editing software, but i'm guessing i need some sort of video capture device that uses USB. If so, what is a good device to use? I don't have HD programs on my TiVo, so i don't need HD transfer, but i do want a good quality transfer. Thanks!
